Doneisha is amazing! A friend recommended her so I went to get a closure installed. This was my first time ever getting one and I was very nervous but she ensured me that I’d love it and I surely did. It gave “lace where?!” and I am so glad. I will definitely be returning for all my closure installs.

Every time I come to see Doneisha she always has good energy, great conversation. On top of that she makes sure I feel comfortable and is very attentive. At the end of every hair appointment I am always happy with my hair results. She is great at what she does.Definitely recommend!

Doneisha is the shining example of what’s wrong with Black hairstylists. My appt was scheduled at 2pm and she wasn’t ready to do my hair until 4pm. She had no respect for me and my time and expected me to sit around, waiting for her for 2hrs to do my hair. On top of that, she refused to give me a refund (I had to call my bank and get my money back). I’m tired of Black Women accepting this type of mistreatment, being gaslit and thinking this is normal. Black women deserve better treatment!!

Not only did I have a great experience but my hair looked great! First time going to a new stylist is nerve wrecking. She made me feel comfortable and she also gave me tips and tricks in regards to how to take care of my hair under the protective styles. I have fine hair and she was super tender and cared about not just the style but also how I would maintain my natural hair under the install. You pay for what you get and she’s worth the investment.

Amazing! This was my first time getting a sew in and also my first time using a stylist in nyc since i moved up here. Doneisha was so great with explaining different options for my styles and eased any concerns i had. She actually cares about the health of your natural hair along with making sure you’re always comfortable. She is definitely someone i trust with my hair moving forward
