I was recommended this place by a very trustworthy friend. I’ve been having trouble finding someone that understands how to work with my hair type but I was overdue for a haircut so I decided it was time. Mike was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and communicative about anything to do with hairstyles, textures, and hair care. I think I found my new stylist. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back!

He has a wonderful personality and made me feel very comfortable, and it was lovely chatting during the appointment. Mike truly loves working with hair, and it shows in his attention to detail and his interest in his clients as partners in curating beautiful hair. He worked with me to understand my goals, build a plan around them and to make sure that I understood clearly how to maintain my hair. The experience was pleasant and comfortable, and Mike himself was a pleasure to spend time chatting with. Mike changed my hair from dark brown to medium blonde through a double-process, and skillfully guided the specific choice of base color based on what would complement my natural skin tones. He also applied a keratin treatment and trimmed it. I trust him to manage my hair and am looking forward to continuing to work together with him.

I cannot say enough good things about Mike!
He really has magic hands and this is the first time I have left a hair salon in my life where I was delighted and impressed by the outcomes (yes I am picky).
He listens and understands exactly what you need, he uses the highest quality materials to maintain hair health and is such a pleasure to spend time with!
His studio is such a unique experience- everything done lovingly by hand (by him!) using natural and recycled materials, and he provides one on one attention to his clients (he does not use support staff!) which he really gets to know.
All I can say is - you owe it to yourself to have Mike care for your hair.

I am currently visiting New York for a week and needed a haircut. I searched and found this salon with this amazing person, Mike is wonderful, he makes you feel like you have known him for years, he has a lot of knowledge about what he does and most importantly he is very genuine, he gave me some tips and how to keep my hair healthy , made my hair look amazing and feel so healthy! I loved his Lounge, it is so beautiful, relaxing and full of life, plus Mike had a great conversation with my husband. The only disappointment is that now my favorite stylist will be over 1,111 miles away. I will definitely return to this amazing place on my next trip to New York.

Amazing experience my hair was black and naturally I'm a blond. Mike brought my hair back without damaging it!! I feel like a new person. And the blow out I had from Alberto OMG I had so many compliments the next day at work for all the big bosses it was fantastic. I couldn't be more thrilled to finally find a colorist who knows what that their doing without chopping hair off and frying it, bonus he listened and told me everything he was doing. Love love love everyone in there just so friendly and helpful. My permanent go to!!!! First picture was done at a previous salon. Second by Mike.
