I LOVE THIS SALON!!! I was so nervous since I had my hair stylist in America for 10 years and the fear of finding a new one was very scary in a foreign country! I am VERY PARTICULAR and selective with everything I do and put on me. But I’m so happy I went here!!! Francisco spent almost SIX HOURS (yes god bless them— 6 hours!!!) on my hair to make it perfect!!! I had 20 different colors of blonde highlights and a result of over the last 10 years of sun exposure and natural oxidation. He worked tirelessly and very METICULOUSLY to make sure all the color was distributed evenly and what color of highlights looked good for my skin tone. Also he uses the BEST PRODUCTS FROM ITALY. My hair was so soft and shiny after the shampoo that I bought the shampoo and conditioner from his store! I have a very sensitive scalp and it did not burn or itch like other products do in America. He recommended the color that would look best for my hair and I’m so happy I listened to him! His technique is the best!! I also got a haircut and WOW it’s the best haircut of my life!! It frames my face and it is now healthy and shiny. So many People have already complimented on my hair and it’s only been 2 days! I really really want to thank him and his team for staying with me for almost 6 HOURS on the last day before they closed for vacation!!! I’m so happy I found him and the salon and now I can relax that I have found my new stylist in florence! Please please go to him and trust him!! They are very friendly and very professional but best of all it’s the best in Florence. He was even nice enough to buy me a panini in the middle of my appointment because I was so hungry after 5 hours in the salon! I love love this place and I cannot recommend it enough!! Domenico has consistently done an amazing job with my hair, both with cut and color. I always get compliments after I visit his salon. Moreover, he has very reasonable prices. I highly recommend him. My only regret is that I did not find him sooner!

Danny gave me and my son a fantastic cut! We called rather last minute and the salon was able to fit us both in next day. The espresso is a nice touch. My 23 yo loves his hair now. Me too! Mahalo Danny 🤙🌈

I've been to several hair stylists over the years in New York, including one of the most expensive ones in the city and have never been truly satisfied after my cuts. Without a doubt Domenico is the best hair stylist I have ever been to. He understood exactly what I wanted and gave me an excellent cut. It's perfect and I'm very happy with it! So glad to have found this place.

Absolutely awful experience. Booked appointment I come in - he starts brushing my hair and then I just please be gentle with my hair - he just goes “oh you wanna brush it yourself?” I said no I am in salon for getting a service and have it done . He goes you know what I don’t wanna do your hair - just go... what kind of unprofessional person does this ? For just 1 comment about not breaking my thin hair? Think twice before using this guy....

I expressed my concerns and what I wanted and Domenico made sure to accommodate yet tell me what works best for my hair- super important for the pro to tell you whats good! Also amazing shampoo and conditioner my hair doesn't get greasy quick after like typical shampoos

OK, you have to try Domenico to get the feeling that 5 stars is not enough. I do my color every month; I used to go in the best salon in the city and I was always disappointed to find color on my ears, neck, or forehead. Domenico is super fast and precise in applying the color, which is very very important. I have never had even a little line of color on my skin.
He is a great haircutter, not only because he does what you would like but he is also able to understand what you would like without an interrogation. He has the ability to do the best with your hair.
In addition, I have a boyfriend who used to hate to get his hair cut. When I asked why, he told me "I never know what to say when they ask me all those questions about the cut I want." First time to Mimmo (short for Domenico in Italian), my boyfriend had very long hair after a year without a cut; Mimmo only asked if he liked the hair shorter, then cut off his ponytail and in 15 minutes he had found the perfect haircut for him. Now my boyfriend is not scared anymore to go to cut his hair; he goes there, Mimmo cuts, and he is always satisfied.

I can't say enough good things about this place. From someone who is notoriously pretty difficult to please -- they really deserve their 5 stars ! From the communication (the owner texts) to them being ready for me when I got there to the friendliness of all of the staff, to the quality of services received and products used, I can't think of one missed step. This may be the best cut I've had since I've lived here (or ever?). And he highlight touch up was quick and subtle just as I requested. It only took five years but I'm glad I found a place I look forward to coming back to! Thank you Domenico.

I have never received a service so great that I thought to myself, "Wow. I HAVE to write a Yelp review." But today, that all changed.
I was walking through Midtown, thinking about the fact that my hair needed a trim and my roots needed a bleach when I turned to Yelp. I'm very particular about who I let color my hair, so I was confident I was not going to be swayed. I usually get my hair colored at Bumble & Bumble, but the prices were getting to me. It was time for something new.
I called a salon, they didn't have availability immediately, and so I scrolled to this very Yelp page. I called, and was greeted by a man with a thick Italian accent. "Can you come at 12?" I couldn't come at 12, I had another appointment. But I liked that he didn't laugh in my face when I said "Do you have anything available immediately?" We settled on 1:00.
I had a little bit of trouble finding the salon, only because I didn't read the text that Domenico had sent me. He is at Carlos Lobo salon-- I was simply looking for the address and his name. I found it, and at the end of the day it wasn't that hard to find.
I got there thirty minutes early. Domenico greeted me with a huge smile, and made feel immediately at ease. Despite being early, he sat me down immediately in his chair. Usually, conversations with stylists feel forced and uncomfortable. That was not the case with Domenico. I was happy to ask him more about his craft and his life, in addition to telling him details about mine. I honestly could talk to him for hours. He also has been a hair stylist for 22 years, and his dedication to the craft is evident. He covered my roots in bleach so quickly and with such precision, I was astonished at how quickly he worked.
Not only did the color turn out beautiful, but he also gave me the best pixie cut of my life. I just cut off all of my hair last April, hoping to channel my inner Jean Seberg. I have shown every stylist I have had in the last six months a picture of Jean Seberg, andas a result, I have had fine haircuts. But when I showed Domenico the picture, he showed me what he would do-- it wouldn't be a precise part like I was used to. I took the risk, and boy, am I glad I did.
His cut and color is amazing. I no longer need to go to Bumble & Bumble for top of the line cut and color. He's affordable. He's friendly. And he's very, very good at what he does. I am so in love with my hair, and I am never going to anyone else again! I have found my guy! Thank you, Domenico!

Best haircut ever! I moved from San Francisco and am so happy I found Domenico on Yelp. He has done my color twice now. I get compliments on the color all the time.
