My 12 y/o daughter had an appointment for knotless box braids ($140). It was set for 5:30pm, she arrived 5:45pm. At 5:53pm I received a phone call that my daughter didn't have braiding hair. I wasn't aware of that prior, even though I did look on the page - but I will take the blame for not asking. The stylist went and got the hair and stated it was $48 (I asked for the receipt the following day and was ignored). Now, 7:00pm comes and my daughter is still waiting on her braids to be started as other people were being serviced. My daughter begins having her hair braided around 7:15pm. Upon completion, I asked the stylist to change the total due on Styleseat since it was only reflecting the $140, as it should of been $188 with the hair. Considering I also had a discount that I wanted to utilize, I notified to let me know when the total is updated (to $188) so I can transfer the funds and not miss out on the discount. Instead that didn't happen and the $140 was attempted. When I alerted the stylist she said she can't accept the payment through Styleseat because since it declined initially - and even if she adjusts the total to $188 and I pay through Styleseat she will have an issue receiving the payment! No worries, I sent her $210. Didn't receive acknowledgement. My daughter's hair did look good though, lol.

I’m a fairly new client. Jessica has done my hair twice and I have no complaints. The first time she was running a few minutes behind and she apologetically texted to inform me. Communication is key! Things happen but when you reach out to the client first it’s a very good look. I got a wash, treatment, 2 bundles and had them colored for a traditional install and everything was top notch. Jessica has a good vibe and that’s important with a stylist.
