Marianna is a true professional, she always gets the look I am going for; even if it's just a minor refresh! From color to cut, I always leave feeling my absolute best. Most of all, she takes her time and makes sure you are happy with your request. I have been to countless salons that when it's not exactly what you wanted; I would feel shy to speak up- you will not encounter that here! Her salon is super easy to get to and she is super flexible with her appointment hours.

Being blonde is fun but so so hard!!
I've been blonde forever and have had spurts of being brunette ( a fix after a bad dye job in college), and even a redhead. I never recognized myself despite my love of anyone with beautiful red hair, but I have always gone back to blonde! I must be the most difficult blonde in NYC, maybe the world, and have been getting highlights for 16 years, always changing salons (I'm that person to stop a fellow blonde on the subway and ask where they go) and never happy with anything the way I was at home in CT. Well, I can't go home to CT every time I need my hair done, the prices are really the same as in New York - and I literally have no time - until one day I found Marianna through someone on Instagram!!

Like another reviewer said, It took me 8 years living in NYC to find someone I trusted with blonde hair!
First of all, she is super cool and I go there because I also really like hanging out with her! Second - she listens, and hears all my insane ideas - and I love her because we talk through it and she explains what every term means - I look through photos I saved and she explains what blending vs dimension means, or lifting vs single process, or ice white vs vanilla white (haha!) and we will talk about how I normally wear my hair, what is my typical day like - (I can be super lazy and throw it in a bun and call it effort) - so she really works backwards with me to see what I am wanting - or if I have events coming up, or how much time I really need between appointments - and I really respect that because I feel like anywhere else is always trying to get your money!! This is NYC, I don't have all that money!! lol
Anyway, Marianna is AMAZINGNESS and truly goes above and beyond and I love that she has her own salon, which is bright and pink and fun; it's just very cozy and quaint but perfect after a busy day, or even at 8am for a full highlight and root lift... I am always running around and can be found eating lunch or typing away on my computer in her chair. Even while doing work, it is always a pleasant experience with Marianna!!
Trust me: from someone who has been to more salons than I can count, You will not regret going to her!!

SO glad I started going to see Marianna! An amazing colorist and stylist that listens to clients' needs and gives great suggestions after assessing hair type, styling habits, etc. Highly, highly recommend!

Such a wonderful soul! I'm very happy w the results and even happier w choosing to pay Marianna a visit. You won't regret it. She is supportive of whatever you choose and encourages you to express any concerns you may have which I had zero of. I'm definitely returning I had a hair cut and dye btw.

Marianna is AMAZING! She just started her NYC salon (was previously doing hair in London) and goes above and beyond to accommodate clients. I've gone to her for haircuts and will be using her for my wedding day. Brides, definitely check her out.... she charges a fraction of those overpriced wedding vendors.

An absolutely delightful experience!
Marianna is fantastic hair stylist.
She is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, sweet and does fantastic job with listening to what I like and want and she does exactly that. She gave me a great cut and blowout.
I couldn't stop looking at myself on store and car window reflections on my way home =).
Overall salon is very small, but very cute, cozy, clean and personalized. Nice place, good vibes and great service all around.
Convenient location - easy to get to.
Prices are reasonable for New York City.
I am very happy with the results and will be back,
I would definitely recommend Marianna!
