This was my first time visiting this business, and I was excited to find a local option for self-care services, as I usually travel to New York. I booked a dermaplaning facial, a service I've had many times before at other establishments.
Pros:
•The establishment is very cute and conveniently located.
Cons:
•Unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as I had hoped. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted by staff; instead, the dogs seemed more welcoming. The treatment room appeared unhygienic, with items scattered around and the bed for facials lacking disposable covers. The bed also had stains, which was concerning.
•The facial itself felt extremely rushed, lasting less than thirty minutes, and I didn't notice any improvement in my skin or reduction of peach fuzz, which is typically the purpose of a dermaplaning facial. (I included a picture of my skin AFTER the facial, visibly no difference in my skin.) The blade used didn't seem like a medical-grade scalpel, and the esthetician had to leave the room multiple times to retrieve items that should have been prepared in advance.
•I also found the lack of communication during the facial disappointing, as I'm used to estheticians explaining each step of the process.
•Overall, I was very underwhelmed by the experience and felt that I could have achieved better results at home. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this service based on my visit.

Trudy did an amazing job on the wax. I got a Manzillian with her and she did a good job of taking care of the waxing in the least painful manner overall. She started off with the most sensitive areas to get them out the way and afterwards it was smooth sailing relatively speaking until the end. She took her time with me so she best rewards patient clients and help made me feel comfortable since it is a very vulnerable position to be in as a man. She made sure I was fine throughout the whole process and was very accommodating whenever I needed breaks. You can tell she has good experience with waxing as she told me she’s been waxing for around 3 years so I can confidently recommend her services.

Firstly this place earns all 5 stars simply for their knowledge and flexibility !! Exceptionally Professional and Knowledgeable! I love everyone at Keys Essential Day Spa, everyone is such a joy to be around ! The facials leave me glowing and feeling healthy. My esthetician was Nancia B. And I couldn’t speak more highly of her! She not only explained everything she was was doing , but also why she was doing it. She answered all my questions throughly! I love my facial ! I can’t wait for my next appointment
