Loved my experience! Celia really listened to what I wanted and I ended with the perfect brows for my face shape. I also brought photos which I think really helped her to understand my vision. So happy I finally found Wax Addict after trying out so many places in the city.

I've been seeing Celia for almost 10 years now for body waxing- underarms, legs, and Brazilian- she is fantastic! She does a thorough job with the least discomfort. Very knowledgeable about good skincare and what to do for ingrown hairs. She is punctual and always makes me feel comfortable. I know I can run to an appointment when I have a break at work and be back on time. I've tried many waxing places over the years and Wax Addict stands out for the high quality and personal service.

So to preface,
I have been getting Brazilians for YEARS.
I arrived to my appointment on time, and during that time she was just finishing up with a previous client. So i stepped away to the bathroom.
I came back and undressed and she started my wax.
When i tell you, it was the absolute shortest wax i have ever had. I think it took a total of 5 minutes.
I literally asked "oh I'm done?" Because there was no like assessment of the skin, or helping remove some of the ingrown hairs.
She was obviously very busy that day, i respect that. I understand she has a business to run. But this service is not cheap, nearly 100 dollars with tip. She was so busy that she was like "okay you can put your clothes on and I'm just gonna clean up" didn't offer me a mirror to look, didn't give me a chance to look at it before she was basically pushing me out the door. As soon as she wiped down the area she was already bringing another person in. When you book the appointment online. It shows you have a reserved time of an hour, i arrived at 3:15 and had gone to the bathroom, undressed, had my entire wax done, dressed, and paid by 3:36. 21 minutes. (Please see receipts)
Once i did get home, i was so sadly disappointed in my wax, i have some ingrown that are still there, and so much hair that was missed.
I went in hopes of supporting small business and staying away from large wax centers. I left feeling very unsatisfied but don't think i even had an opportunity to express that as i felt so rushed.
I can't speak on the quality of other services; but get your Brazilians elsewhere.

I keep contacting this business to ask if they can accommodate someone with reduced mobility, and I haven't gotten an answer. So either that's a no, or they don't care to communicate, or both I guess.

Celia is the BEST and now the only person I trust with my brows! She's lovely and always does an amazing job. Highly recommend visiting Wax Addict!

i have no doubt that top notch services can be performed here, but felt pretty uncomfortable when she asked me 3 or 4 times when the last time I got my brows done was.
was hoping for a quick session, so signed up for maintenance, but given that it was a first time she still charged the full amount (which I get). Pretty crazy to pay $80+ for the services I personally received. Don't plan on coming back.

I trust Celia with MY LIFE!!! Seriously! You will not find a better brow artist/aesthetician than her in San Francisco. Prior to finding Celia and Wax Addict, whenever I got my brows waxed, I would always be sooo nervous and uneasy, even after asking for a brow mapping. I'd be sitting in my chair as they were waxing my brows just holding my breath and praying that when they finished waxing, my brows wouldn't be too thin, arched, and ugly.
I've been coming to Celia to get my brows waxed for years now, and wow, it's SO nice to be able to casually and comfortably sit in the chair and not be internally freaking out over what my brows will look like once she's finished. Because I know they're going to turn out exactly how I want them to and she knows what she's doing.
She's so professional and friendly, her space is always so clean, sanitary, and aesthetic, and the waxing doesn't hurt one bit (and I'm such a scaredy-cat when it comes to pain). I always ask for her to clean up my brows since I come see her regularly, and we do a soft arch, almost straight but not completely straight, brow and it's perfect every time. I don't even ask for a brow mapping because I know she has the eye for what I want and I trust everything she says.
Post-wax, she also will help cover the redness around your brows with foundation if you want, and fill them in for you. She's convinced me to purchase the exact brow powder, brow brush, and brow wax she uses because every time she finishes with my brows, I just want them to look like that when I do them myself.
I can't say enough good things about Celia and her services and expertise. 100/10, if you're looking for someone who can take care of your brows and help you get your brows to where you want them to, you HAVE to get them done with Celia.

Celia did my eyebrows with great care. Typically, my eyebrows are on the thick side, but I decided to go with the more round, thinner look. She was very helpful on how I should maintain the new brows and did an excellent job like always.

Rachel did my brows with the utmost care and precision - not a single hair was out of place! She was friendly and welcoming as well which made the service so enjoyable. The waxing was painless and the tweezing made my brow shape the best it's ever been. I especially love the brow trim - I have had that botched and this was simply perfect!
I'm a wax addict now for sure - she will be the only person I trust with my brows in SF. Her warmest and expertise (developed from years working at the monolith Benefit!) really shine through.

Found Celia on Yelp and read nothing but great reviews so I had to visit her for myself.
Extremely easy process scheduling online and finding the location.
Celia is such a sweetheart and had a fantastic experience just like I had read. I explained to her the struggle of my brows and how they've been threw waxing, microblading, threading and tweezing. She's a great listener and appreciate her recommendations.
Very clean set up and decent pricing. I would highly recommend her. I look forward to being a recurring customer of Celia's!
