I've been seeing Juan for years and he's an incredible stylist. He takes the time to understand what I'm hoping for and consults on considerations before diving in. He always gives me a cut that makes me feel fresh and put together, and his balayage skills are truly unmatched. He's given me two balayages that have lasted for a year+ and grow out beautifully. He's the only person I would trust with my hair. Even after moving out of Noe Valley 5+ years ago, I've continued to return!

Have seen Dustin for many years, through many hair phases, overdue in writing this review. I always leave happy with my hair. Also, he's timely! I can only sit in the chair for so long and he's pretty efficient while never rushing either.

I got a haircut the other day and I wanted to like it.
My stylist finished my cut in less than 30 minutes! (I have long hair) and did not style it well. For a cut, it's expected some care and time goes in for a cut. It was quite surprising.
I asked for long layers and it came out quite choppy. It was cut too short and there was no stop in asking how it looked. I give the benefit of the doubt most times for a salon, but the time spent and overall cut was less than ideal. I'm hoping it'll grow back as it's hair.
I've cut my hair once before here with a better result . Unfortunately it looks like the stylist who I had visited previously is not on the here anymore. 3 stars as the person working at the reception was friendly.
Overall will look elsewhere for a cut.

Missy is great! Their online booking system is also super convenient. They carry some interesting hair products as well, they’re more locally sourced than conventional salons. I especially love the tonik from cult and king they use after the wash.

First time at the salon - very happy! Dustin cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Everyone was masked and vaccinated, so it felt safe. The place has a great vibe and was easy to get to. Thanks Green Twig!

Can’t speak high enough praises about this place! They were able to accomodate a new client on short notice and the stylists and reception are super helpful and friendly. Missy worked on my hair and she’s fantastic! She was able to give me advice on taking care of my textured hair and I left the salon on Saturday evening feeling amazing ✨Highly recommend this place in SF.

Dana's haircuts can't be beat - so much so I drive from Marin! I've been seeing Dana for close to a decade. I have really thick hair and she does wonders with layers and thinning while somehow preventing it from frizzing or poofing. She effortlessly advises me on what's trendy and how to keep my look fresh. I also really love her as a person and deeply respect her as a business owner. She's created such a warm welcoming space and collaborative team, she's an amazing mom, active in the SF community, grounded yet curious, and incredibly present.

Amazing salon in SF! They were able to accomodate me on fairly short notice and everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I had a haircut and style booked with Missy, who was fantastic with my curly hair and even gave me a roundbrush to take home! Very glad I found this place, and I'm excited to come back again for another visit.

Just started going Green Twig and love my hairstylist Rae. Got a cool haircut and color. They have Covid protocols in place so i didn't feel unsafe. Love the owner . The place has a great Vibe! Thanks Rae !

JUAN IS THE ONE!!! Juan is a stylist here and I came to see him for a color. This is the second time I've gotten color by him AND THE WORK IS CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT! I went with an ashy blond last time but went for a more saturated lavender this time - and I am in LOVE with the final product. My hair was black and he was able to lift it one sitting! He is familiar with black folks hair which is always a plus when going to any salon. Juan is the One! So happy

Nice cozy salon in a great location in Noe Valley. Juan listened carefully to what I wanted and took his time to make sure the results were what I anticipated. He did a great job with the color, neutralizing a prior color I hadn't liked, touching up my roots, and giving me a nice consistent color all over.

I came to Green Twig Salon looking to find someone who could save my hair! I had previously recieved a horrible haircut at another salon. I was so lucky to find Ria! She not only saved my haircut but she gave me the best cut I've had in at least 15 years!

I am visiting the area and didn't have time for a haircut at home before I left.
Fortune was on my side and I was able to get a haircut with Natasha at Green Twig. She saved me from chopping the locks I have been trying to grow out! Some subtle reshaping and an amazing blow out were just the boost I needed to enjoy the hair I had been despising before Natasha worked her magic.
The salon is comfy, cozy and charming.

At last! I've been wanting to try this salon for literally years, and for one reason or another, I never had the opportunity until now. And I am so glad that the stars aligned and I was able to go today. From the moment I stepped foot into the salon, I had a great experience from Missy and Chris, the really good coffee, and stylist Kelly. Cut and color look so great - I feel like I went from disheveled to the best version of me - all in one morning. Also, I am grateful that the salon values socially conscious issues. This place is really special. As soon as I got back home, I booked my very next appointment.

Michaelyn and Missy are absolutely wonderful. They are caring, compassionate and well informed. They went out of their way to make sure everything would be done correctly. They explained everything. I love the fact that they are caring and would take their time with the procedure. Recommend them highly.

Samantha has a fantastic eye for detail and she's very talented with her scissors! I decided to go with a bold cut from long wispy hair to a blunt bob & I am in LOVE! Thank you thank you thank YOU! I cannot wait to be back for some color next. I also want to mention how great Jasper was on getting back to me for scheduling. The communication and experience was beyond perfect.
