I did the body sculpting service with Paige. The salon is very cute and clean, always being met with coffee, tea or water and chocolates when I first arrive. When we go into the room where the body sculpting takes place, the room is always warmed up and soft spa like music playing. You lay on the table where Paige will walk you through every step and eased any concern I had and answered all of the many questions I had.
The results were amazing, I work out regularly and eat well but there has always been stubborn lower belly fat and love I needed help to eliminate and after 9 sessions I can feel the difference in my jeans. My butt is the same (I wanted to keep it I just wanted my waist to be a smidge smaller) and now I have a better hour glass shape that I was looking for.
Working with Paige was truly a delight, and I would absolutely 10/10 recommend. Besides having an effective treatment, and pleasant salon, she is so sweet and kind and was flexible, willing to work around my crazy traveling schedule. Super grateful and would definitely come back if im trying to burn more fat cells faster. 🙌

Samitra salon is always a treat. The space is charming. When you arrive you are offered a cup of tea, water etc. There are always tasty chocolates available to make the experience extra sweet. Samera takes her time to understand what is important to in you in a hair style and color. The experience is one I look forward to. The girls are very knowledgable about hair products and even have a few great make up lines. Best blow out ever! I leave there feeling great!

I have tried SO many different salons in San Francisco over 5 years but never found one that got my hair done just right - until Samitra! For the first time in years I was able to grow my hair out to much below my shoulders. Will be coming back again and again, so glad I found this place! Best products, best people :)

Words cannot describe how much I love this salon. Samera and T are one of a kind and the absolute best at their craft!! It's taken me forever to find a quality salon in the city. After 15 years - I finally found my spot. They do the BEST cuts and amazing blow outs. I haven't colored my hair yet but every single person I've seen walk out this door look phenomenal and I've sent multiple friends here and they rave about their color treatments. This place is top notch and I highly recommend coming in and seeing them!

I love coming to this salon! The staff knows their stuff and the vibe makes spending time here a pleasure. I’ve done touch ups and highlights here for a year. Samara has turned my home boxed dyed Asian hair into a healthy and more beautiful light brown. I actually have more baby hairs coming in now! If you’re considering trying this salon, you will be so happy you did!

I absolutely love the service that I receive from Samera. She is an amazing colorist and I appreciate her suggestions when it comes to color change and what will go best with gray hair. Yeah I'm there with gray, ughh. She always knows exactly how to incorporate colors I choose and the results are always on point. Definitely a happy client each and ever time.

Samera is amazing at knowing just what I need. My grey hair comes in pretty quickly after a touchup. Lightening up my hair prevented the grey from showing so quickly. She always gives the best trims and I continue to receive a lot of compliments on my hair. I won't go anywhere else, EVER! Thank you Samera xoxoxo

I've been going to Samitra Salon since 2008, but took a break since Covid started (I live in Pleasanton), but after trying couple hair stylist in East Bay decided to go back to her despite the distance. Her hair cuts and highlights are amazing. I feel like and look like myself after two years

Samera has been my hair stylist for almost 6 years. Every time I go to her, she blesses me with a splash of fashion that makes me get compliments from everybody. On top of haircut, shampoo, and styling, it's an experience that involves drinking tea, having friendly conversations, and not noticing the time passing. I always walk out of there smiling!
They provide a variety of quality services there. They are very friendly, warm, and welcoming. I used to live close to Samitra Salon, then moved to another part of the city; but still make trips there to get my haircuts :)

I used to dislike sitting still to get my hair done. I won't take it for granted again! Getting my hair cut and colored and brows waxed was the most relaxing thing I've been able to do in quite some time! Not only is my hair color and cut beautiful, I love supporting a local, small, woman owned business.

I LOVE Samitra Salon. It's a quaint, stylish, boutique salon where they treat you like you're getting an exclusive salon experience whether you're getting your hair done or a facial treatment. Samera always uses high quality products and keeps my hair looking and feeling shiny and beautiful. If I'm feeling like I'm having a hair rut, she always brightens me up and I leave feeling great. I always look forward to needing a haircut so I can go spend some time with the ladies at Samitra!

Best salon EVER hands down. Stylist Samera works absolute magic with her color and cut expertise. I feel amazing every time I walk out of this salon. And my time at Samitra is more relaxing than any spa I've ever been to... the ambiance and staff, music and decor are a little slice of heaven.

I’ve been coming to Samira for over ten years. She’s always had a secret sauce in her technique over the years using the latest highest industry technique but using her knowledge to always leave you beyond your expectations. She’ll leave your hair glossy and full of life. Her haircut is the best in town and will leave your hair in perfect shape. She’s one of San Francisco’s hidden Gems with one of the best sheeky and classy salons in the city. She’s cleaned up a lot of the mess left from previous hair stylist in the past. She’s top notch!

How have I not written a review about Samitra Salon? I've been coming to see Samera since 2014 and she NEVER disappoints. I trust that I can sit in her chair and say, "Do whatever you think I need" I always walk out with something I never imagined and it always looks fabulous.
I have no idea what would look good on me and I trust Samera's expertise. She is a true artist!
People stop me to ask about my color and cut ALL the time!
The salon is gorgeous and I immediately feel like I'm doing something luxurious for myself.
I live in the east bay and am one of THOSE people who would not cross the bridge if someone offered me a pot of gold. But I will trek into the city for my appointment at Samitra because they are legitimately the best!
Thanks to all at Samitra for giving me amazing hair and a wonderful experience every time!

Started to go to Samera about three years ago. I moved back to the Bay Area and was looking for someone to help me figure out what to do. I had spent most of my adult life in the Military and even though I got our years before, I had kept my hair short basically out of habit. Basically, I had no idea what I was doing.
Samera was very patient with me and carefully explained what would work, what wouldn't and made a plan for how to get there. She approached it as a long term project (which it really was) and -although I only saw her once a month- she picked up the conversation and the plan like I had been in the day before. She has exceptional skill and I've learned to trust her advice.
6 months before my wedding I brought in a few pictures with different styles that my wife and I thought would look good for the wedding. She indulged every crazy idea, did exactly what I asked, but in such a way where I could always change it if I needed. She worked with me and taught me what I needed to know to get my hair where I needed it to be for my wedding.
I can't say that I actually know what the hell I'm doing with my hair, but I definitely know what I need and, more importantly, know where to go when I need help.

I read somewhere that "the eyebrows are the boobs of the face" -- and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Meetra with my face-boobs. She's a miracle worker. In all seriousness, I have a 3-4 inch scar above/over my right eyebrow and the only person to ever make my eyebrows look good AND even is Meetra. Also, she is the only person who has given me a facial where I fell asleep. She's amazing.
I highly recommend Simitra as well. She did all of the hair for my sister's wedding and was wonderful to work with, fast, and the end results were beautiful.
