I cannot recommend LayLay enough for anyone looking for a talented, professional, and friendly hairstylist for their wedding day! From our first consultation to the final touch-ups before I walked down the aisle, she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. She could easily charge 5x what her rate is for the quality of her work and experience, but she keeps her services affordable and reasonable.
My hair looked flawless all day, from the ceremony to the last dance and well into the night!
What really sets Lay apart is her attention to detail and ability to create a look that made me feel confident and beautiful. She’s a true professional, working quickly without sacrificing quality, and always with a smile.

An absolute angel. Hair was extremely knotted/matted do to being ill and she couldn’t have been sweeter about accomplishing the job regardless of going past the amount of time that was scheduled for out of the kindness of her heart of wanting to help me with something that was getting in the way of me living my life. I would give her an 11/10 on not just skill but personality too??I can guarantee you won’t regret going with her!

if you miss the days of the old school salon girlies, you need to book with Lay, and you need to book with her now. she’s fast, she’s smart, she’s creative, she’s professional — she identified and treated a scalp issue in an instant. her salon is cute and comes with a rich, beautiful history. oh, and she actually washes hair. an absolute hidden gem of a stylist on the West Coast; i almost don’t want to leave this review because I’m trying to gatekeep Lay and her incredible skills all to myself!
