This salon is so cute and comfortable. The asthetic environment is pleasing and makes a girl feel fancy. I have worked with a few stylists at House of Alba and have never been let down when visiting.

I came to House of Alba to see Emily Spencer for a partial highlight on 1/30/24. The results were not as hoped for with thin blended highlights instead of thicker, more dimensional ones as we had discussed. I can admit that there was some miscommunication and misunderstanding on both of our parts. I then came back for a redo on 2/8/24. For 45
min Emily, the owner of the salon Nikki and myself agreed on a more dimensional balayage look with thick money piece. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. I clearly communicated that I wanted a bright ash blonde color and some added low lights matching my natural light brown tone for dimension. After 3.5 hours in total and two attempts of wet balayage and toner to correct yellow, I ended up with a lot of yellow blonde in my hair and a lack of dimension. I was told by the owner that it looks great and as I wanted and when I said it was clearly not what I wanted, I was told to use purple shampoo by Nikki (the owner) and to find another hair stylist to correct it, because “we have miscommunication” by Emily. I am frankly shocked and very disappointed that I spent a total of 7 hours at the salon over two appointments and after the results were not as envisioned and I was sent away unhappy. After getting my hair colored for over 15 years I have never encountered this lack of empathy and customer service.
