Been growing my hair out for over 7 months and had hair down past my eyes and just long all around. When i made my appointment I came early in hopes of giving them they time they would need to pull of the cut i wanted.
The barber was friendly and said he understood what i wanted but clearly didnt. I thought i was in good hands when he pinned up my hair but he literally just buzzed me down to just under 5 inches and is nowhere near what i asked for. (Long on top tight on the sides)
I wouldn't recommend going here unless you are looking for something basic or a line up. Dealing with long hair seems to be beyond their skills.
Barber offered for it to be free but i still paid him for his time.

Barbosa was more 10 year olds barber to provide him an edge up. He asked me if he could use the the airbrush to make his line “look better”… I said no, he was too young. He carries on…waits till I walk away and says to his lil homeboy standing there with him that my child “Had a crooked hairline and needed a haircut..” in front of my kid!!! My kid who is YOUNG, trying to grow his hair out and is already uncomfortable because his customer service was trash. He knew not to say it in front of me…cause I would have lost it on him and his friend. I used to LOVE bringing my son here. You all always did an awesome job. Not sure WTF has happened but this is my second ridiculous experience. I’m done.

First time ever going to this place, had a very bad previous haircut from a different place and stayed away from barber shops for awhile, decided to give Star City Barbershop a try, a very nice cool environment, I set an appointment up with Hazie, really great guy, he did an amazing job cutting my hair (low fade), and couldn't be happier with the results.
