Every time I try a new barber it feels like a gamble. When I first met Perla, I had several decent haircuts from her peers already, but Iād noticed she always did a great job on customers, so I finally gave her a try about 18 months ago.
Sheās by far the best barber Iāve had to date. Punctual. When I bring my children sheās very welcoming to them, she pays good attention to detail, and whether I need a buzz cut, a combover or a taper, she always nails the cut!
It helps that sheās such a kind person, and does her best to meet my very difficult schedule. I strongly recommend her for a quality haircut.

Llevo 18 meses como cliente de ella y puedo decir que es la mejor peluquera que e tenido en mi vida. Es puntual. Es sĆŗper amable con mi familia, y siempre me da buen corte aunque seguido cambiĆ³ mi look.
Es una persona muy amable y siempre hace todo lo posible por ayudarme con un corte aunque tengo agenda apretada. La recomiendo encarecidamente para un corte de calidad.

If youāre in Seattle and still looking for an awesome barber, Iām telling you right now, go see King's Den Barber Shop on the 1st floor and ask for Perla. I donāt even say that lightly. I moved out here a few years ago and just happened to sit in her chair one day. No plan, no referral, just luck. And I havenāt let anyone else touch my hair since. That should tell you everything.
Perla is one of the most skilled barbers Iāve come across, period. She understands hair on a different level. It doesnāt matter your race, your texture, how thick or thin your hair is, short, long, whateverā¦ she knows what sheās doing. Thatās rare. A lot of barbers stay in one lane. She doesnāt. She can cut, shape, line you up clean, and on top of that, she can braid too. And not just basicā¦ she really knows her way around it. What I respect the most is consistency. Every time I sit in her chair, I get exactly what I asked for. No guessing, no āletās try this today.ā She's locked in!!! That kind of reliability is hard to find, especially when you care about how you present yourself. Sheās also just a real person. Good energy. Funny. Easy to talk to. You can walk in having a rough day and leave feeling better than when you came in. That matters more than people think. The shop experience is different when the person cutting your hair actually cares about people. And she works. I mean really works. Every time I go in, sheās there. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and doesnāt take it for granted. That shows in her cuts and how she carries herself. On top of all that, her prices are more than fair. Honestly, she could charge more for the level sheās at and people would still pay it. Youāre getting your moneyās worth every time.
Iām just being real, I got lucky finding her. Not everybody does. So if youāre reading this and youāve been hopping from barber to barber trying to find the one, this might be it for you. Perla, if you see this, I appreciate you for real. Keep doing what youāre doing. Youāve got a gift and it shows every time someone gets up out your chair.

Iāve been a client of Perla for 3 years, and from the very first day, my experience has been excellent. Not only does she give a great fade, but her personality is what keeps me coming back. She doesnāt just treat me like a client she treats me like a friend. Sheās always very polite. Loyal to my barber and wouldnāt go to anyone else.
