Had an 11am appt on Saturday and no one showed up. Place is still closed at 2. No call from them. No one answering the phone. Entire day thrown off. Terrible business operator. Stopped by at 11pm just to be sure they wasn't any mixup between am and pm and they were still closed. At least 1 additional person seemed as perplexed as I was.

I got a Blonde balayage & some highlights. Done by the amazing Esmerelda! This salon is cute, trendy & snuck into the bishop arts area. They do excellent work & always make sure their clients are well taken care of. They are reasonably priced & very talented. Would definitely recommend.

Spent a lot of money for highlights and the suggested fill color with Esmeralda. You can't really see the highlights, so called back to ask to add a few lighter highlights just around my face. I was told I would have to be charged again. I will never come back...expensive lesson on me!

This salon was amazing and so relaxing! Sheryl did a great job on my hair! It was nice as a mom to get pampered and taken care of while I was on vacation! Thank you all! I'll be back next vacation!

I've been here twice. Once the service was ok, so I decided to come back.
The second time I came here, the stylist didn't have to courtesy to show up on time. Actually, she didn't have the courtesy to contact me and let me know she was running 30 minutes late until I arrived. Let's be honest, in Dallas, 30 minutes late means you haven't even left your house.

Really disappointed in this salon. I called to schedule a blowout and was getting the times available for this coming Friday. As soon as I mentioned that it was a Groupon I was placed on hold and when she returned to the phone she said she only had an 11am appointment available. I told her I would call back.
Of course, I had a second person call - and Friday had availability all morning and all afternoon.
If you don't want to cater to Groupon users DON'T ADVERTISE on there! I'm not cheap by any means, I called a second salon who was also advertising and even asked them if having a Groupon made a difference. It didn't and THEY were courteous.
I was using the Groupon as a first time experience and if all went well, this would've turned into a long-term salon as I was with my last stylist for over 4 years.
Extremely disappointed.

Excellent!! I wish I could give more stars! I came here on a Groupon, and Veronica was my stylist. I saw some of her work on Instagram, and she seemed fabulous! From start to finish, she was very friendly, VERY meticulous and detailed with my blow out. She shampooed me twice, then she blow dryed my hair (which was honestly perfect), and then she curled my hair to my specifications. She made sure every single strand looked perfect. I've officially found my new hairdresser! Pic attached.
Parking is sorta a nightmare because this is in deep ellum- try coming around an off time.
I wasn't offered a drink, and this salon is pretty no frills. Video attached of the salon. However, the work was fabulous. Coming back for hair color.

I will preface this with saying that I found Salon olines on Groupon, but liked the yelp reviews I saw and decided to come here. It is my first haircut in Dallas and I was so hesitant after reading about 5-7 other places that I wasn't too keen on visiting. I called for an appointment and told them I was going to buy a Groupon but wanted to ensure they had space for an appointment before I bought it. They told me they would honor the price and I didn't need to buy it!
The salon is located in bishops arts and it is nestled among other cute stores. Parking is scarce especially around the evening time because of the popular restaurants nearby but it is free for 4 hours. I got there early, and my stylist was still busy, so she got me started with the Moroccan oil treatment. I only wish she was a little faster because the quoted time for my 1 hour treatment+cut was doubled and in top of me being super early I spent way too much time there. No one offered me any water or beverages and the salon itself isn't the prettiest to look at. All that aside my stylist, Tanya did a wonderful job. I haven't had my hair cut in so long because I had balayage and was afraid of losing all my highlights. She was so patient and kind and offered suggestions and to redo it if I wasn't happy but I was! She nailed the look I had envisioned. The oil treatment also felt great on my hair and I would recommend that to those with treated hair. I'm happy my with new haircut! Will likely be back if they honor another Groupon. $35 cut and $45 for cut/oil/style are. It bad deals!

So I first came to this salon with a Groupon a few months ago - it was honored with no issues and no awkwardness. That seems important to mention since this is not always the case at other salons.
My mom and I both left the salon feeling fierce af after our cuts with Esmeralda. She's so good at what she does, and is so sweet! We went back for another cut a few weeks ago and she convinced us to add a little color into our lives. My mom had never colored her hair before and I had a less than amazing experience with my last color. Needless to say she's converted us both! In fact, my sister called the very next day to book her own appointment after seeing my hair. Now the three of us are looking like a million bucks. Thank you Esmeralda!!
