I went in to chop off all my damaged curls and Robin said to trust her. So I did. Now I love my curly locks. Can't wait to go back!

Decided to try Just Robin after seeing a Groupon offer, and good reviews about Robin. Very glad I did!
Robin is knowledgeable. She listened to everything I wanted, and hair goals (growing it out) and from there we formed a plan. She fixed what had been done, and I am looking forward to returning to her so we can continue to shape my hair.
She really knows her stuff. I am able to put my confidence in a stylist (finally) :)
She is also has a fun personality. Prices are reasonable. Located in one of those places where a lot of stylist rent out booths under one roof. Nothing too fancy, but get's the job done. Can't put a price on real skills.

I bought Kaivan and Robin's Groupon for feather extensions after contemplating getting them for awhile. Kaivan was nice enough to work around schedules to get me in on my lunch break, only 2 days after I bought the Groupon, as I was excited to get them for the weekend.
I ended up being about 15 minutes late to my appointment after getting lost (my fault for not having looked up directions prior); many salons would cancel the appointment and/or try to charge but Robin simply said "of course we can get you in!"
Robin carefully helped me pick out exactly the combination of feathers I wanted, and it only took about 10 minutes for her to get them put into the perfect spot in my hair. I swim, wash, straighten, etc them with the rest of my hair and they have not moved at all!
Kaivan and Robin were both very nice and created a fun atmosphere. I am excited that I purchased 2 of the Groupons as I know I can trust her to do a good job. I have not gotten my hair highlighted or cut by either of them but after seeing them in action with other clients I definitely want to try it out and see if this is my new go-to place as it is close to home.

Robin recently did a beautiful up-do for my wedding. She was much more affordable than the "wedding hairstylists" and did a better job. I tried 2 trial runs before Robin and they both made me look old because I wanted "classic and timeless." Robin accomplished the look I was going for but in a youthful way. She is a true artist and I was in a windy environment all day and it held up perfectly. Thanks so much Robin!
I love the work Kaivan and Robin do as my regular hairdressers as well, great colorists! Whether I'm going darker or bleaching, etc...it always turns out great with minimal damage. Robin really knows how to lighten hair slowly without damaging. Every time I go somewhere else for highlights, I regret it because of the damage! The cut is always great too!

I luckily found Kaivan & Robin through groupon too and love them! The thing that really sold me is that they can recommend a great haircut that compliments your features and is easy to maintain once you leave. They both clearly love what they do and are always very friendly.

I also found out about Kaivan & Robin from groupon.com. I bought a $25 off of $50 services groupon discount.

Okay, what's the catch?
Seems a little too good to be true, right? So I did some research with a skeptical eye . . . . . .Kaivan & Robin have countless positive reviews on other sites like citysearch. Maybe the services would be performed by a "junior stylist" or something? Otherwise, how was it possible to score a hair cut by top-notch professionals for only $25 bucks? I breathed a sigh of relief when I walked into the salon and realized (chim in the harps) only two stylists (Kaivan and Robin) worked in the salon! You got it, just the two of them. The salon is in a suite in one of those buildings that house all types of beauty, hair, skin, etc. small businesses.
Just to reference a previous post from back in August. . . . . yes, Robin cuts hair FAST!! Robin is just one of those people that juggles tasks like a pro. She gets you in and out so fast that yeah, I did question why my hair cut was completed in a half hour or so, but it looked amazing afterwards!
Her consultation took, I dunno a minute or two, as she assessed my hair and explained the layering/blending issues from my last cut. Oh yeah, she also found my official hair part . . . which is totally different than what I've known it to be for .......sorta all my life! Not kidding, Robin found my 'natural' hair part which solved my problem of getting my hair in the front to lay flat. Robin also recommended a change in hair color. She-bang, she-bang :-)
For me, that is what makes a great hair stylist: someone experienced enough for you to trust their judgement yet insightful enough to recommend changes to your hair that even you wouldn't think to do.
Two trips to Kaivan & Robin's salon and I couldn't be happier about my hair. Robin's cut is magnificent and still looks great 9 weeks later. She recommended I take my hair back to a deep strawberry blonde that I'm loving!

I also bought a groupon for a haircut at half the price. Under normal circumstances I am probably the most non confrontational person on the planet, but if I can save someone else from this experiment gone bad than this is worth it. When I called to make the appointment I let them know that I have fine thick hair which I know can be tricky sometimes, and I just wanted it shaped up since I am growing it out. Robin scheduled me with herself and I was excited to finally get my hair cut. (It had been 3 months) I hadn't been to this location before so after stopping at an ATM to get cash for a tip I was about 6 minutes late for the appointment. 28 whole minutes later I was walking out of the building. 28 minutes for her to consult, wash/condition my hair, go grab coffee, hack at my hair and blow-dry. She did give me a couple of minutes of time when I objected to being sent out with partially damp big Texas hair.
It was hard to see(until I got home in the better light) that the "layers" she cut into my hair are actually just big chunks. I've had better haircuts from novice stylists. I kind of feel like crying, because I really can't afford to go get it corrected by someone else right now.
The other Yelper is right about their personality though. They do seem like nice people. I would have loved to have been able to give them a good review.

I bought a groupon from this salon for a half off hair cut. I m not too adventurous when it comes to my hair, because I know what I like and am very particular. However, I was elated after my hair cut from Kaivan. Kavian and Robin are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Kavian is from London and learned from the masters at the John Fredia Salon. When I sat down to get my hair did...I just told him to shape up my hair...I have A LOT of hair that gets weighed down, so I needed some shape to it! Kavian did an EXCELLENT job! I was so happy with my groupon purchase! I definitely suggest you try out this place! They are experts when it comes to hair!

When I went to this salon it was really medeocre. There wasn't anyone up front. I didn't know where to find my stylist. Some lady idk who she was told me finally where to go. Then the stylist Robin who did my hair
gave me highlights that were not very good. She missed places in my hair & the back was lighter than the front. The actual cut was uneven. She has awful technique. She didn't even section my hair off to cut it! I wouldn't go back to have it fixed. Never again.
