Erin did a great job with my extension lift. Not okay did she treat my hair, but she washed and treated all my extensions prior to placing them back in. My appointment ran a bit longer than expected but when she was done it was worth the extra time.

Erin messed up my hair. I requested a refund kindly for the deposit I paid for extensions. I still paid her for the service she completed with tip. I paid the deposit believing she did her job correctly, until the ends of my hair started to turn basically green about a week later. Not normal. I then requested a refund, which she declined.

As someone who never takes the time to leave a review when I go places I’m only here to state the facts - Roxy is simply leagues above any other hairstylist in Austin in terms of attention to detail, knowledge, technique and natural talent. Wether its through usage of scissors, clippers, or straight-razor she puts on a masterful performance on my hair every single time and that is why she is the only person who has cut my hair for the past 5 years. She has never missed the mark, not even once.

Like right now I'm sitting at the vet and the vet tech told me she loved my haircut. I have also gotten beautiful natural highlights and perfect coloring from Vina at other times in the past. She's a really nice person and a great hair stylist. For example she doesn't ever judge or scold me for trimming my own bangs she just fixes it. Good energy :)

I always have a great time visiting Vina. This particular visit was to begin a hair transformation from harsh blonde back to my natural dark hair color. She worked wonders! I was lucky enough to have discovered her when I was desperately searching for someone to help correct a horrible color and job. They haven’t done on my hair. After searching all over town for someone who could fit me in, she happen to have an opening, and I feel so lucky that was the case. Vina has been doing my hair for years and I haven't found anyone who even comes close to her level of skill with my hair. She is very good at giving me exactly the style I want and she is super personable as well so its never awkward sitting in her chair. Her color work is also fantastic. She did a green for me a few years ago that I absolutely loved and still think about and she has only gotten better with both her vivids and more natural coloring techniques. Had Vina from about mid 2018 (I think) until she left Carrboro. She is the best when it comes to colors. I would go in and sit down and just let her do whatever she wanted and I have yet to have a bad hairstyle. I moved to another state and would wait till I came back to where she was to have someone do my hair because I only trusted her. I am sad she is gone but at least it will make me find someone in my own state after 3 years.

Roxy is great. My stylist recommended her, and she gave my kiddo a kind of life-changing haircut. Not only is she great with hair, she takes my preteen seriously and doesn’t patronize them. That’s important to me. They talk about horror movies and stuff my kiddo is interested in…and it never feels saccharine or fake. She always checks with me if cut/color is being discussed that requires significant maintenance—but it feels like her number one priority is to make my kiddo happy with their look.

I thought my hair was thinning and instead she really explained to me it was just damaged from color treatments and the way it was cut made it very weak. It’s always very hard to trust a new person to work on my dreadlocks. They are almost 5 years old and are my pride and joy! Roxy understood this and gave me the utmost confidence that she knew how to handle the locks and I walked out with beatiful y crocheted dreadlocks and my sides re-shaved. The products used from Cult and king were amazing as Wel and have not left any type of residue feeling in my hair! I will definitely be going back to Roxy for my next maintenance!
