This Salon is amazing. They have a hip and modern vibe with super friendly service and some of the most talented stylists and cosmetologists in the city.
They also have a great line of products to offer.
I recommend Luco Salon 100 percent.

Courtney is the best. I decided to transition to my natural Gray last year, and she helped me pave the way seamlessly. Very efficient and practical.

The problem is, if everyone finds out how great Lucie is, I'll never be able to get in to see her. But she's the best, and she deserves to have it shouted from the rooftops. Since I started seeing Lucie for facials, my skin has never looked better. It's not just the regular professional treatment, it's that she has helped me navigate the intimidating waters of So Many Freaking Skincare Choices and figure out what works for me. She is generous with samples, never pushes products, and will only make recs if you ask. It's a truly no-pressure situation. But that aside, she is absolute magic with facials. When you come in, she'll take a look at what's going on with you (for me, it's been anything to crazy stress acne to cheeks so dry I thought I had eczema) and talk about how she'd like to treat you that day. I love getting her professional recommendation and am happy to leave it up to her. Whatever she chooses for treatment always makes my skin look and feel better!
The facials themselves are so much more relaxing and full-body than any other I've ever had. She massages your legs and shoulders and neck and feet while things soak in, and she takes her time. You will walk out feeling like a new person.
Lucie is also the only person I trust with my eyebrows (for me, this is a Big Deal), and she gave me my first-ever spray tan which turned out better than I could have expected.
Lucie is magic. Go see her right now.
PS - The stuff in the boutique is always worth a look, too! So many cute things.
PPS - I started seeing Lucie because someone who has been seeing her for 18 years recommended her to me. 18 years says it all.

This salon is tucked away in a beautiful, light-filled greenery. It's very welcoming and cozy and there aren't may clients there at once, they seem to spread it out so its a very intimate relaxing way to spend an afternoon being pampered.
John Perry is my hair specialist and he's so great and takes the art of coloring to a whole other level. He cares, he's inspired, and he listens...I trust him and his vision and I always leave there feeling great!
*bring extra cash too because they have an awesome selection of attire and jewelry for great prices

I love this place!! I am so happy that a little over a year ago I was referred to John Perry. I came to him with severely damaged and destroyed hair. He met me with open arms and together we have developed an awesome partnership towards me having GREAT hair.
I am so so SO happy I have finally found my hair "person." From the moment I walk into Luco he treats me like a celebrity. With a warm welcome, hug, and coffee waiting we sit down and discuss what I want to do with my hair. He truly listens to what I want out of my hair, while at the same time uses his expertise and vision to provide insight into what will work and what will not. He is always up to date on the latest products and techniques that will work for my hair. Each time he also teaches me how to style and take care of my hair. I walk out of there every time feeling like a million bucks. ( the head massage is great too). We have a plan already prepared when I walk out the door for our next visit. I already cannot wait until I see John at Luco again. The compliments keep on flowing on how great my hair looks.
The salon is in a super cool location. I feel like I am walking into a tree house when I walk down the steps to the salon. With the trees and open windows I feel very relaxed. The salon is super clean and always has products there that I need to buy. Very up to date. I also like how they have clothes, accessories and jewelry that I can browse. Music is very relaxed and coffee and water are served :) Cannot say enough good things about Luco and John Perry.

Cassandra from Luco salon is the number one thing I would have changed about my wedding. She got the time of the wedding wrong in her planning. When I caught this error and asked if we could remedy the situation a week before, she was not apologetic or helpful. Worst of all, in the end I could have done a better job on my hair by myself, and my make up was barely done at all, due to lack of time. My sisters could not wait for her to leave so we could try to fix my hair before walking down the aisle.
I believe Cassandra is a talented hair dresser--in the year I spent with her before the wedding my hair always looked good. But the lack of professionalism on such an important day made all those haircuts seem trivial.
Get your hair cut here, sure, but don't plan your wedding hair with Cassandra.

Just got my first haircut from Christine Horne.
SHE IS AMAZING!
The process started with a backrub and then followed with a thorough washing of my mop.
Then, the hair consultation... I can imagine that what I described for her was not an easy task and not only did she come through, she did it with precision.
You can always tell when a hair dresser knows their stuff and she cut with the precision of a sushi chef. To go along with the perfect technique, Christine was easy to talk to so the hair cut went very well.
As for the Salon, I'm pretty sure you won't find a more hip setting in San Diego. SERIOUSLY, top notch, very clean, very trendy and the people there are super cool.
They also sell products there that they don't push on you, but if you can try them, they are really great.
Five stars for Service, Setting, Superiority in the Industry, Satisfaction and Selection.

My boyfriend has been telling me that Cassandra is the woman who will hook you up with flyness. So, I called her up and scheduled an appointment.
Daaaaannnnnggg.... HE WAS RIGHT!!
I went in today, looking like I've giving up on myself, and came out..... FABULOUS!
That girl has mad skill. Check her out.
I've only been here once and have only seen Cassandra. I'm for sure going back, and I'm for sure not letting anyone else near my head. I'm just saying.
The salon has this kinda futuristic/mod thing going on. Super cute!
And, it's tucked away and surrounded by Eucalyptus trees. It's nice just walking in. But, it's so much better walking out. You feel good, you look good and the nice environment......

Don't be discouraged by the sweetly tendril stench redolent of death emanating curbside from the flowering carob trees flanking fifth-avenue or the treacherous path that leads deep into the subterranean lair of these talented cosmenauts. Luco (backwards Luco) is a fine place to cut and tussle ones hair.
My hair, wild and greased with appropriated goo not necessarily intended for the purposes they were employed, was washed, beaten and tamed by the nimble fingers of one Ms. Cassandra Zetimaier, extraordinaire. She endured the relentless babbling of my theories of conspiracy and proclamations of post-future shock with swift snips and gentle slices from her fierce little razor. Sheaths of cells and connective tissue that make up the follicles of my hair soon covered the floor and affixed themselves to all available surfaces moist, leaving the exquisitely tiled floor below my chair looking like the the black hand of chemotherapy itself.
Wine was offered; I declined, already drunk on my own words.
The transformation itself cannot be described by me. The caribou sees a reflection in a shallow pool of water and goes to rut. It is only aware that the reflection it sees represents its own species and is unable to knead out the individual markers of self. Similarly, I am dumbfounded by what I see. Something great and terrible. Something more then me. I have become.
If I could offer a simple improvement: I had a great deal of difficulty trying to maneuver my Segway down the steep path as it inevitably was caught up between the tread and risers of the first descending step. The addition of a small escalator that could accommodate my 12 inch rims would be very appreciated.

I ought to start with the fact that I have had many facials, spread over a dozen-plus estheticians, and I do have to say that Lucie is the best!
She has nearly 2 decades of experience, which seems to give her a highly keen ability to give you exactly what you want and need. The head-to-toe treatment is beyond what any other esthetician does, and her results are great!
She is very therapeutic and down to earth, so you'll always get recommendations that fit your lifestyle, as well as accomplish your skincare goals.
I really love Lucie and highly recommend her!
