The salon is beautiful and spacious. Be aware the front door is always locked, so you will knock when you come in. I was there a bit early and wrongfully assumed no one was there when I got there. I recommend anyone with curls or waves try out More than Curly.

More than Curly, owned by Melissa, is an exceptional salon. I have been a customer for at least 10. Always up on the new hair styles and products that work. Melissa runs an establishment where the members are personable and concerned with pleasing the customer.

The salon is immaculate and comfortable. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I really felt comfortable and I am person who often feels uncomfortable for basically no reason.
I would encourage anyone who wants to invest in their natural waves or curls but are unsure how or even what cut you want to try this salon.
Visiting More Than Curly was the best birthday present I gave myself in a long time!

The business overall is amazing for curly. What a thoughtful idea to include those who have a rough time maintaining their curls. The location is in a great area. The products are perfect for the Colorado climate. There are free satin scrunchies and also they serve you tea so you can relax and enjoy your time. Doing your hair shouldn't be a chore, it should enjoyable and they make sure of that at More Than Curly! The prices are pricey, but I'd say worth it. Great team, wonderful gowns!

I really want this business to succeed, they have so much going for them. I did thorough research on curly hair salons and this one had the best instagram. However my experience was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a high end hair experience based off the instagram, pricing and the website. What I got was a team that seems close which is nice but I was hoping for more focused attention so I can learn about my curls. Granted my first impression of this business was when they were renovating but I’ve never had a hairstylist have conversations around me like I was in a local barber shop. The owner Melissa definitely seemed like someone I would have preferred to cut my hair and had great energy. Unfortunately I don’t think her expertise has been translated to all team member. I won’t be returning but wish them all the best.
