This was my first visit to the Larissa Salon. It is a small cozy place with a warm vibe in a good location with parking available. I drove from west seattle to Isaquah to visit this Salon because of rave reviews I had heard from my friends. As expected I loved the pleasant ambience of the Salon and my hair stylist, Nadia. Also, I loved how professional the Salon was about reminders for the appointment. Booking the appointment was also easy. They have a very efficient online system. There are no hidden/extra costs involved. What you see online, is what you get at the Salon which is usually not the case with many Salons. They also gave clear instructions about parking and entering the building which is usually a pain when you are visiting a Salon for the first time and trying to reach on time for your appointment. I would definitely recommend this Salon to everyone!!

I was paired with Nance Tran, who is a lovely person and clearly works hard. Unfortunately I felt like she didn't listen to what I asked and completely did her own thing with my hair. I am a brunette and I paid for brown highlights, lighter than my own hair color, but I still specified brown. I showed her two pictures of what I wanted. While the color was already on my hair she came and told me "Oh yeah, I also added gold to the mix because I feel like gold would look good too." Um what? I never asked, wanted, or showed her a picture of gold highlights. My hair came out a mixture of brass and gold, and she commented "Wow your hair really absorbed the gold." She blow dried and finished my hair, and I was terrified. This was so far from what I wanted. I showed her the original picture once more and the difference was plain as day. She agreed that it was very different from the picture. She assured me she could fix it by applying toner for another 10 minutes. This cooled the gold, but also removed 99% of any highlight. In the end, I paid $220 for a haircut, and left 4 hours later with zero highlights. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with this salon. We corresponded with the salon via text and scheduled an appointment for 14 days later with Nance. When we arrived, the owner flippantly advised that we did not have a confirmation, and we had no appointment. She never offered to reschedule, and she said there was nothing she could do. This response was very disappointing because my daughter was getting her hair done prior to her first day of high school. Based on the extremely unprofessional (and disappointing) interaction, I would strongly recommend you consider another salon.
